The newly-formed Motorpoint Pro-Cycling Team had its first official outing in Manchester at Revolution – the UK’s premier track cycling event.
Over 15,000 fans packed into the Manchester Velodrome to catch some of the world’s best cyclists in action in mid-January for Revolution 27.
The only event of its type in this country, the Motorpoint Pro-Cycling Team didn’t disappoint on the night. Olympic Gold Medal Winner Ed Clancy MBE delivered the goods in the Motor Paced Scratch Race holding off new Team Sky recruit Geraint Thomas to take the spoils.
Later in the evening Ed Clancy and Andy Tennant teamed up to power ahead of the rest of the field to win a fiercely-contested Madison Time Trial.
