The Motorpoint boys were in Stoke on Trent yesterday for the launch of the “Halfords Tour Series”.
The city, which is celebrating its “100th year of Federation”, will play host to a thrilling evening of road racing as teams compete against each other to win the yellow jersey.
The “Tour Series” which kicks off in May, will see teams take to ten towns and cities across the country. The inaugural round will be held at Canary Wharf on 25th May. The newest venue to the series, riders will tear around a course of skyscrapers and office blocks.
Stoke will also play host to a stage of the “Tour of Britain”; a gruelling 100-mile tour through the six towns of Stoke including some incredible climbs over the Peak District in September. For more details click on the race section of the website.
