Cycling legend Malcolm Elliott helped celebrate the launch of the newly-named Motorpoint Arena in Sheffield on Monday.
Born and bred in ‘Steel City’, Elliott took time time out from his busy training programme to help Motorpoint unveil the newly-named Arena on Broughton Lane.
Speaking afterwards, Malcolm said: “It’s great news for Sheffield, especially with what’s happened at the Sheffield Forgemasters. The sponsorship is important for the city as it means Motorpoint Arena investment is secured and it can remain a world- class venue.”
