Confidence high ahead of National 10 Mile Time Trials

Motorpoint’s Ed Clancy is confident of the team fortunes going into this weekend’s National 10-Mile Time Trial. With Ed and Andy Tennant refreshed after their exertions in the Lincoln GP, he believes the guys are well placed to “go for it” and secure a good finish.

“We certainly don’t go into the time trial as favourites,” says the Olympic Gold Medal winner, “but with the likes of Andy, Steve and myself racing in Motorpoint colours we are confident that we have what it takes to go for a top three team finish at least.”

Ed has been leaving nothing to chance ahead of the race around Alcester and Shakespeare’s birthplace of Stratford upon Avon, clocking up an average of 50 miles a day on his time trial bike.
