It promises to be a busy weekend for the Motorpoint team.
On Saturday night, the guys take to the Manchester Velodrome for Revolution 28. The UK’s premier track event attracts 15,000 fans for a highly charged evening of top notch racing. Created to boost awareness of the sport, Revolution 28 continues to keep cycling at the forefront in the build up towards London 2012.
Featuring the cream of British cycling, on show will be Olympic and Commonwealth Champions Chris Hoy, Bradley Wiggins, Mark Cavendish and Victoria Pendleton plus of course Ed Clancy, Steven Burke, Pete Williams and Andy Tennant in their Motorpoint colours.
And then on Sunday, the team heads to Lancashire for the 43rd Clayton Velo Spring Classic, near Burnley. A small, four mile loop road race, the circuit covers 14 laps (equivalent to 56 miles).
Ian Bibby, Jonathan McEvoy, James Sampson, Pete Williams and Malcolm Elliott will be hoping to round off a packed weekend with some silverware for Motorpoint in this classic, early season race.
